Bobby Patel

Bobby Patel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Austin College, where he majored in International Economics & Finance and minored in Chemistry. He was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa US national honor society. He is originally from Kenya and has also lived in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Prior to CrossBoundary, Bobby worked as an Investment Analyst for the International Finance Corporation, supporting transactions in Angola, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, and other African markets. His focus sectors included manufacturing, agribusiness, and real estate. Bobby was previously an Investment Analyst for the Goldman Sachs & Co. Special Situations Group, where he was involved in principal investing through middle market debt and structured equity under the Specialty Lending Group platform, with facilities ranging from US$10m to US$150m.
