Charlene holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering focused on electrical energy systems from the University of Vermont. Prior to joining the Investment Advisory team, Charlene supported CrossBoundary’s Mini-Grid Innovation Lab on data analysis and publication of the Lab’s first two Innovation Insights, a publication series highlighting preliminary findings of revenue-generating and cost reduction experiments run on mini-grid sites in Africa. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Charlene worked with EON Off-Grid Solutions on remote monitoring of mini-grid assets in rural Tanzania and data analysis to generating insights from solar consumption patterns. She has also worked with Dalbit Petroleum Ltd in Kenya and Packetized Energy in Vermont. Charlene is a Kenyan national and is based in the Nairobi office.
