Emir Benelmir is based in CrossBoundary’s London Office where he is a member of the Investment Advisory team. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, he was working for an infrastructure debt fund in London, Benjamin de Rothschild Infrastructure Debt Fund (BRIDGE), where he worked over US$20 billion worth of assets in Europe, mainly in the power & utilities space. Previously, he worked at Veolia in Tokyo, developing large scale renewable power plants across Japan. In 2017, he has been appointed by the European Commission as an Independent Energy Expert, providing recommendations on the concessional financing of high voltage transmission lines falling within the Trans-European Networks for Energy (TEN-E) strategy. Emir is a French Mechanical Engineer and holds a Master in Strategy from Essec Business School.
