Francois de Jager
Francois holds a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from the North-West University in South Africa. He has experience in power system engineering, having been involved with energy projects ranging from mining industrial to utility applications across the African continent. Before joining CrossBoundary, Francois worked for an international engineering consulting firm, where he was involved in various utility-scale renewable energy projects. While there, his responsibilities ranged from detailed power system studies, technical design, and advisory to providing critical inputs towards several governments’ integrated resource plans in order to facilitate the growth of renewables integrating onto the electrical grid. Francois is a member of the Energy team and is based in the CrossBoundary Johannesburg office.
