Gabriel Davies

As Managing Director and co-founder of CrossBoundary Energy Access (CBEA), Gabriel leads Africa’s pioneering project finance facility for mini-grids, mobilizing funding from bluechip investors like ARCH, Bank of America, and Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund. CBEA invests in solar mini-grids to power households and businesses across Africa. Before joining CrossBoundary, Gabriel spent time advising on energy policy for the UK Government and worked in investment banking. He has published over 20 articles on energy and the off-grid sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a Master’s in Physics & Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
