James Shoetan

James is the Chief Commercial Officer for CrossBoundary Energy, where he ensures the company invests its capital into credit-worthy projects across its rapidly expanding portfolio. James has an MBA from Wharton Business School and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. He is an American-Nigerian, who has worked in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, the United States, and the Middle East. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, James worked at The Boston Consulting Group based out of Johannesburg and previously worked at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations evaluating commercial nuclear plants on their safety and performance across the United States. James is based in CrossBoundary’s Nairobi office.
