Marilia dos Reis Martins

Marilia dos Reis Martins is a Managing Director on CrossBoundary’s Natural Capital team. Marilia leads a number of climate and nature transactions and innovative fund designs in developing economies globally, helping unlock climate and carbon finance for nature-based solutions. She is also supporting the launch of The Fund for Nature, a first-of-its-kind investment platform providing project finance for nature-based carbon projects across emerging markets. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, Marilia was a Director at Lion’s Head Global Partners, where she advised clients on structuring and deploying innovative investment structures, with a particular focus on climate finance. She is an Economist with an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge.
