Stephen Akpakwu

Stephen leads CrossBoundary’s Sovereign Advisory team and focuses on the nexus of sustainable financing, risk management and nature-based market interventions for governments in underserved markets. Before joining CrossBoundary, Stephen was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in London, advising sovereigns and corporates across emerging markets on capital raises, debt refinancing, currency and commodity risk management and project finance. Stephen also worked in the Market & Credit Risk Technology Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Stephen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
