Tombo Banda
Tombo holds a MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. She is a chartered engineer registered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers UK. Prior to joining CrossBoundary, she worked as a Consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Addis Ababa office, where she advised clients in the public and social sector in Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, and Uganda. Tombo is based in the CrossBoundary Nairobi office, where she leads CrossBoundary’s Mini-Grid Innovation Lab.
